Mermaid Anya and Thingamabobs

Hey crafty friends!  Oh, it's MerMay and we are celebrating with this gorgeous stamp of Mermaid Anya 2 from The Greeting Farm. This stamp set is filled with many great elements. And Anya is just chef's kiss💖 I love her flowy hair and how she decorated it with sea animal barrettes- how adorable. This card came together effortlessly. There are lots of sparkle, shimmer, and bright colors - a mermaid's dream.

To create the background, I used a seashell embossing folder to emboss a 4.25" x 5.5" white cardstock paper that I purchased from Amazon.  I then added wave dies from my stash to create the glitter blue waves and sand.  To mimic sand, I used Distress Oxide inks in the colors Brush Corduroy, Rusty Hinge and Ground Expresso.

I colored Mermaid Anya using my Ohuhu alcohol markers.  The final touches included using Star Dust Stickles (my favorite stickles color, ever!) and a white Posca Marker. I combined the stamp set Mermaid BDay Anya for the starfish.
