Easy 6" x 8" Gatefold Album

 

Hey Crafty Friends,

It's Tammy and I am back with another project share.  Today, I present an easy 6" x 8" Gatefold Album.  What is great about this project is that I only used designer paper, so it went along fairly fast.  There isn't any added cardstock except for the mini cards I included.

I love the eclectic feel of the album.  It's bright and cheery. I knew I wanted to use the bird as the focal point on the cover, the AALL & Create stamps and Carta Bella's Practically Perfect paper collection; I believe that the paper collection is a Mary Poppin's theme; I love the soft colors, floral imagery, and the thickness of the papers. I am more than happy with how this project turned out. Don't be afraid to mix images and paper collections!   It will look great!

I added these adorable stamps from AALL & Create.  I love their whimsical look. They are a perfect size to a 4" x 4" mini card.  I love hanging the cards from the pocket for added interest and flips.
